Fin regeneration

Poss and colleagues reviewed zebrafish as a model for regeneration, including their remarkable ability to regrow fins.

Regrowing the heart

Poss, Wilson and Keating showed zebrafish fully regenerate their hearts within 2 months after 20% of the ventricle is removed, by cardiomyocyte proliferation instead of scarring.
